Our story

Our Story

Gluten Free Favourites is a family owned and operated business, and founded by Leanne and Luke after Luke was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 2001. Since then our daughter Lauren and Baby James have both been placed on a Gluten Free diet, and our other son Ryan is so far showing no symptoms. A Gluten Free lifestyle can be difficult for anyone - but raising children on a Gluten Free diet presents unique challenges. We know only too well the difficulties associated with trying to find foods that are not only tasty but the whole family will eat. Grocery shopping for our family always involved visiting 2 supermarkets and a health food shop. We found the range available was often limited and supply unpredictable.

We started Gluten Free Favourites to provide a dedicated 100% Gluten Free supermarket that provided a wide array of delicious Gluten Free flours, pastas, bread mixes, cookies, snacks, baking supplies, condiments, breakfast cereals and many more. We stock all the major brands, plus those harder to get items and are constantly on the look out for new products and ideas to make life easier and tastier.

Our Favourite products:

Lauren. Koala Crisp Envirokids Breakfast cereal. They taste great.
Ryan. Licoriceland Gluten Free Licorice. Yum yum.
James. Bi-Aglut wafers.
Luke. Bi-Aglut spaghetti. This tastes better than wheat pasta.
Leanne. Organ Self Raising flour. This is such versatile flour, just add a pinch of salt and it behaves like wheat flour.
